I'm sure GSB are burning the midnight oil to try to ensure we miss out on Europe. The Champions League would mean that we need to buy a squad and move heaven and earth to a sign Lingard.
Even Europa would necessitate a number of key signings.
I'm certain they are genuinely gutted that Moyes and his 12 fit senior players just keep on going

Always expected Liverpool and/or Chelsea to finish in the top 4 If we get 6th and finish above Spurs an Arsenal it will be a massive achievement! Big game Sunday going to be very tight!

We haven't got the legs, either on the pitch or in the boardroom to finish 4th and we need both to even try.
I am quite surprised that the board have managed to keep so schtum so long on this; the least I would have expected would be for them to clearly state they would support enhancing the team should it qualify for Europe..
